An orthodontic bracket for connecting a wire arch with a tooth, comprising:! a bracket body configured to be mounted on a tooth, the bracket body comprising a groove for a wire arc configured to receive a wire arc therein; and! a movable element coupled to the bracket body and configured to move relative to it between an open position in which the wire arc can be inserted into the groove for the wire arc and a closed position in which the movable element holds the wire arc in the groove for the wire arc,! while the bracket body and the movable element are made of a transparent or translucent ceramic material. ! 2. The orthodontic bracket according to claim 1, further comprising a locking mechanism for holding the movable element in at least a closed position and to prevent separation of the movable element from the bracket body. ! 3. The orthodontic bracket according to claim 2, in which the locking mechanism comprises:! a protruding portion in one of the bracket body and the movable member, and a receiving portion in another of the bracket body and the movable member. ! 4. The orthodontic bracket according to claim 3, wherein the protruding portion is connected to the brace body, the brace body further comprising an opening for receiving the protruding portion. ! 5. The orthodontic bracket according to claim 4, in which at least a portion of the hole has a conical shape to facilitate the introduction of the protruding section into the hole. ! 6.
