PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corn harvester made compact for an installation space for installing a hydraulic cylinder to move up and down in a residual culm treating device.SOLUTION: A corn harvester comprises: a harvesting part for performing a harvesting treatment in accordance with a machine body travel； a residual culm treating device 9 supported to rise up and down with respect to the machine body for clipping processing the residual culm left on a farm field after the harvesting treatment； and a hydraulic cylinder 91 for operating to move up and down the residual culm treating device 9. The hydraulic cylinder 91 includes: a cylinder tube 91A and a cylinder rod 91B for moving toward and away from the cylinder tube 91A.
