To provide a seedling transplanter which can solve such a problem that it is difficult to scoop up seedlings, because the seedlings escape forward, when the seedlings are scooped up from a seedling tray supplied from an auxiliary seedling slider and then supplied to a seedling tank, and when the seedlings are forward press-moved ON the front side by resistance ON the insertion of a seedling-taking plate ON the bottom surface of the seedling tray and whereby the worker scoops up the seedlings in a state pressing and fixing the seedling tray with his hand.
SOLUTION: In the seedling transplanter and a seedling-receiving step 3 for stopping the forward movement of the seedling tray is formed at the rear end ON the rear bottom portion 7 of the auxiliary seedling slider 2. In a seedling-planting work and the worker inserts the seedling-taking plate in the seedling tray 1 moved ON the upper side of the rear bottom portion 7 at the rear end of the auxiliary seedling slider 2, and then scoops up the mat-like seedlings in the seedling tray 1.
