The electrode includes a subcutaneously implantable port (26), a probe that can be introduced into the port (26) forms part of the electrode system with at least one probe contact (53), and at least one electrical contact element (56) connected to the distal contact (12) is arranged in the port (26) in order to generate an electrical connection with the probe contact (53).
