PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspecting eggs halfway through incubation, significantly reducing occurrence of erroneous determination due to vibration and capable of highly accurately determining non-living eggs.SOLUTION: The apparatus for inspecting eggs halfway through incubation, includes: a light-emitting part that applies light to the eggs halfway through the incubation a light-receiving part that receives the light passing through the inside of the eggs halfway through the incubation in the light applied from the light-emitting part and converts it into an electric signal and a determination part that determines quality determination of the eggs halfway through the incubation from change in the electric signal converted by the light-receiving part and a quantity of light passing therethrough.
