The invention relates to a coating for a seed, which is advantageously multilayer and comprises at least the following compounds: at least one compound (A) selected from adhesive compounds； and at least three of the following compounds (B), (C), (D), (E) or (F), for which (i) compound (C) consists of an inoculum selected from micro-organisms, (ii) compound (D) is selected from biostimulant compounds, (iii) compound (E) is selected from water absorber compounds, (iv) compound (F) is selected from fillers, and (v) compound (B) is selected from fertilising compounds.
