Спицу Киршнера проводят в проксимальный, смещенный отломок лучевой кости с тыльной поверхности предплечья через обе кортикальные пластинки. Под контролем электронно-оптического преобразователя, управляя спицей за свободный конец и не допуская выхода в полость сустава, устраняют как смещение по ширине, так и ротационные смещения проксимального фрагмента лучевой кости.
