PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial denture capable of improving stability during mastication.SOLUTION: An artificial denture 1 is configured so that plural artificial teeth 3, 4 are coupled to an artificial denture base 2. The artificial denture base 2 comprises a base plate 5 facing an alveolar ridge, and an artificial denture base body 6 formed of a soft resin, and having root parts 7, 9 of the artificial teeth 3, 4 embedded. A part (artificial tooth 4) of the plural artificial teeth 3, 4 is not fixed to the base plate 5. The artificial tooth 4 not fixed to the base plate 5 has holes 11, 12, 13 on the root part 9.
