The invention provides a method for marking a product for human or animal use with an XRF identifiable mark, the method comprising forming on at least a region of the product a pattern of at least one FDA-grade material identifiable by XRF, the pattern being optionally at least partially invisible to the naked human eye and having a predefined identifiable characteristic, wherein the product is selected from food products, therapeutics and cosmetics.La présente invention concerne un procédé de marquage d'un produit destiné à l'utilisation humaine ou animale avec une marque identifiable par XRF, le procédé comprenant la formation sur au moins une région du produit d'un motif d'au moins un matériau de qualité FDA identifiable par XRF, le motif étant facultativement au moins partiellement invisible à l'œil humain nu et présentant une caractéristique identifiable prédéfinie, le produit étant sélectionné parmi les produits alimentaires, les agents thérapeutiques et les cosmétiques.
