THE INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR CONNECTING WALLS OF A HOLLOW BODY (1) AT LEAST IN SOME SECTIONS, THE HOLLOW BODY (1) BEING MADE OF AN ELASTIC MATERIAL AND HAVING AT LEAST ONE OPENING (7), WHEREIN A CONNECTING MATERIAL IN VISCOUS FORM IS INTRODUCED INTO THE OPENING (7) OF THE PREFORMED HOLLOW BODY (1) BETWEEN TWO WALL SECTIONS (10), THE WALLS OF WHICH HOLLOW BODY (1) FORM A CAVITY (3’), OR SURFACES OF THE WALLS SECTIONS (10) FACING EACH OTHER ARE MELTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF FORMING A VISCOUS CONNECTING MATERIAL, AND THEN THE CONNECTING MATERIAL IS BROUGHT INTO AN ELASTIC STATE BY MEANS OF CHEMICAL OR PHYSICAL CROSS-LINKING WITH THE SURFACES OF THE HOLLOW BODY (1) SO THAT THE WALL SECTIONS (10) OF THE HOLLOW BODY (1) ARE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER AT LEAST IN SOME SECTIONS IN THE AREA OF THE CONNECTING MATERIAL, AND A CORRESPONDING HOLLOW BODY (1).
