The present invention discloses benfotiamine polymorphs, methods of preparation and uses thereof. The crystalline form of the benfotiamine is a crystalline form of benfotiamine, a crystalline form of benfotiamine, a crystalline form of benfotiamine, a crystalline form of benfotiamine, or a crystalline form of benfotiamine. There are different X-ray powder diffraction images, DSC crystals, infrared spectra, Raman spectra, and preparation methods. The present invention further provides the use of the benfotiamine polymorph in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency and metabolic related disorders, various psychiatric diseases and disorders, diabetes related complications, neurodegenerative diseases. According to the present invention, different crystalline forms of benfotiamine can be purified by different synthesis processes and converted to crystalline forms of A, B, C, D, and E, respectively, with different solvent blending ratios. In the present invention, the various crystal types are substantially pure crystal forms. In addition to providing a novel crystalline form of benfotiamine, the present invention provides solvates, particularly hydrates thereof.
