This invention is a new extraction process by adding solvent into FriutsArctium lappaL. (FAL) and reflux extraction by heat. First, Fructus Arctii were prepared by different solvents and method, we could obtain four crude extracts. This experiment was aimed to investigate the relaxation effect of these crude extracts on corpus cavernosal smooth muscle (CCSM) which isolation of rabbit relaxation. The most potent one among these crude extracts was found to fraction partition by different solvents and five fractional extracts were prepared. Fractional extracts were 100% relaxation ( p< 0.001) on CCSM at 100μg/ml. In conclusion, the contraction of CCSM was actually inhibited by FAL and we suggested that FAL might be helpful to improve erectile dysfunction.本發明是有關於牛蒡子之萃取製程,及其萃取物對兔離體海綿體之舒張效應。首先以不同溶媒製備牛蒡子四種粗萃物,投以兔離體海綿體平滑肌作舒張效應實驗。從初步的舒張效應實驗的數據結果中,取得實驗數據最佳之萃取物。再進一步作分層萃取得其分層萃取物,將分層萃取物各別投以兔離體海綿體平滑肌作舒張效應實驗,最終得到最有效達到最佳舒張效應之分層萃取物;從研究結果中發現牛蒡子確實具有可讓兔離體海綿體平滑肌呈現完全舒張的作用。
