PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of performing accurate fixed point observation.SOLUTION: An imaging unit captures an image of an LED provided in a measuring instrument for measuring a part of a subject in a proximate state, together with the subject. A position calculation unit calculates a marker position showing a position of the LED with respect to the subject on the basis of a captured image obtained by image capturing by the imaging unit. An output control unit performs predetermined control processing when the marker position matches a measurement position to be a marker position when measuring a part of the subject. The present invention is applicable to, for example, a smart phone which has an imaging unit for capturing an image of the LED of the measuring instrument together with the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
