PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device for an endoscope, and an endoscope system capable of reducing the number of dichroic mirrors and suppressing the attenuation of ordinary light.SOLUTION: A first dichroic mirror 52a transmits blue light LB incident from a B-LED 50a and reflects violet light LV incident from a V-LED 50b so as to integrate the light path of the blue light LB and the light path of the violet light LV. A second dichroic mirror 52b reflects excitation light LE incident from a B-LD 54 so as to apply the excitation light LE to a rotating fluorescent body 56. In response to the application of the excitation light LE, the rotating fluorescent body 56 emits green light LG toward the second dichroic mirror 52b. The second dichroic mirror 52b transmits the green light LG and reflects the blue light LB and the violet light LV incident from the first dichroic mirror 52a so as to integrate the light paths of the green light LG, blue light LB and violet light LV.
