Animal feeding installation, as required, comprises a receiving chamber adapted to transfer animal feed from the feed source to the feed container. Receiving chamber comprises an upper section for connection to feed source, a lower section and an intermediate section located between upper and lower sections. Device includes a main tube connected to lower section of receiving chamber. Main tube has an upper portion cooperating with receiving chamber to form a feed container and a lower portion forming an unloading opening for dispensing animal feed. Also, the device comprises a drive arranged at least partially inside the main tube and configured to raise it and lowering in the axial direction when moving to the animals, which allows the transfer of animal feed from the feed container through the discharge port as required. In this case, the drive comprises a sealing portion located inside the feed container and connected to a downwardly extending bar portion protruding from the main tube for a distance beyond the discharge port.
