A humidifying filter comprises a tank, a first pipe, a first filter element and a second filter element. The first pipe connects the inside and the outside of the tank and has a first end for receiving a gas mixture of hydrogen and oxygen and a second end corresponding to the first end for inputting the gas mixture of hydrogen and oxygen into the tank. The first filter is set on the second end of the first pipe for filtering out impurities from the gas mixture of hydrogen and oxygen. The first conduit connects the inside and the outside of the tank for outputting the gas mixture of hydrogen and oxygen after filtration. The gas generator comprises an electrolytic tank and the humidifying filter.
