The present invention relates to a system and method for remotely monitoring an oral condition using image analysis. According to the present invention, the system for remotely monitoring an oral condition using image analysis comprises: an oral imaging device which can capture an image of the inside of the oral cavity； a user terminal paired with the oral cavity imaging device and transmitting the image captured by the oral cavity imaging device； an oral condition management server which stores the captured image of each subject and an oral condition analysis result data of each subject； and an oral condition judgment device which receives the captured image from the oral condition management server, detects tartar or plaque through a pre-learned oral condition determination algorithm, the detected tartar or plaque part on the captured image is displayed and the analysis result is transmitted to the user terminal. As described above, therefore, it is possible to prevent oral periodontal disease by accurately determining in real time whether tartar and plaque are properly removed. Further, the plaque on teeth or gums in the oral cavity may be diagnosed or monitored in real time, so long-term care of the teeth is facilitated.본 발명은 영상분석을 이용한 구강 상태 원격 모니터링 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 영상 분석을 이용한 구강 상태 원격 모니터링 시스템에 있어서, 구강의 내부를 촬영할 수 있는 구강 촬영 장치, 상기 구강 촬영 장치와 페어링되며, 상기 구강 촬영 장치로부터 촬영된 영상을 전송하는 사용자 단말기, 피검자별로 촬영된 영상 및 피검자의 구강 상태 분석결과 데이터를 저장하는 구강 상태 관리 서버, 그리고 상기 구강 상태 관리 서버로부터 촬영 영상을 수신하고, 기 학습된 구강 상태 판단 알고리즘을 통하여 치석 또는 치태를 감지하여, 감지된 치석 또는 치태 부분을 상기 촬영 영상에 표시하여 분석 결과를 상기 사용자 단말기로 전송하는 구강 상태 판단 장치를 포함한다. 이와 같이 본 발명에 따르면, 실시간으로 치석 및 치태가 제대로 제거되었는지 여부를 정확하게 판단함으로써 구강 치주질환을 미연에 예방할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 또한, 실시간으로 구강 내의 치아 또는 잇몸의 치석 및 치태를 진단 또는 모니터링함으로써 장기적으로 치아를 관리할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
