Provided are modified IgG1 Fc domains with reduced binding to the Fc gamma receptor. Further provided are fusion polypeptides that include a modified IgG1 Fc domain. An antibody polypeptide that specifically binds to human CD40 is provided, wherein the antibody polypeptide is a fusion of a domain antibody (dAb) containing a single VH domain and Fc domain.
