Imidazoquinolines, as set forth in formula (I), are useful for inhibiting growth or proliferation of mucoepidermoid carcinoma cells. The therapeutic and prophylactic treatments provided by this invention are practiced by administering to a patient in need thereof an amount of a compound of formula (I) that is effective to inhibit growth or proliferation of the mucoepidermoid carcinoma cells.화학식 I에 제시된 이미다조퀴놀린은 점액표피양 암종 세포의 성장 또는 증식을 억제하는데 유용하다. 본 발명에 의해 제공된 치유적 및 예방적 치료는 그를 필요로 하는 환자에게 점액표피양 암종 세포의 성장 또는 증식을 억제하는데 유효한 양의 화학식 I의 화합물을 투여함으로써 실시된다.
