The process for treating the organic waste e.g. pre-composed green waste, comprises introducing a litter of organic matter having worms to a first module having superimposed framework (1), successively adding pre-composed organic matters in the superimposed framework, controlling a temperature (20-30[deg] ) and a degree of humidity (70-90%) of the decomposition matter in the framework by adding a liquid to the organic matter, installing a transfer element (3) having a movable bottom (4) at a top of two adjacent modules, and introducing the organic matter to the transfer element bottom. The worm belongs to a species of Eisenia foetida andrei. The litter comprises 80 worms per kilo of organic matter. An independent claim is included for device for treating the organic waste.
