The present invention relates to scaffolds which can be used as medical devicesfor guided tissue regeneration and repair, in particular the invention is directedto a scaffold comprising fibres having a mean fibre diameter of between from about1.2 to 4.0 microns, wherein the fibres comprise a glycolide.
