PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cat toilet which is expectable that sand fully falls from the leg of a cat, and moreover makes it possible to decide the size and the form freely meeting with the condition in the room in which the apparatus is installed.SOLUTION: In a group of boxes 7 which adjoins in right left upper and lower sides, the box 7 has a horizontal hole 9 or a vertical hole 11 at the common position and communicates with an adjoining box 7. An entrance 15 is formed in at least one box 7 of the first step, and a toilet 5 of sand is prepared at the other box 7 among the group of boxes 7. A passage root 21 of a cat 3 is formed through these horizontal hole 9, vertical hole 11, entrance 15, and toilet 5 of sand. In addition, the part to which the cat 3 returns from the toilet 5 of sand in the passage root 21 surely includes the vertical hole 11, thereby the cat 3 is forced with a rise and fall operation, and sand falls from the leg. Moreover, each of the boxes 7 which composes the apparatus is isomorphous, and has the horizontal hole 9 and the vertical hole 11 at the common position, thereby it becomes possible to decide the size and the form freely meeting with the indoor condition of the installed apparatus.
