The present invention relates to a composition for enhancing oral hygiene comprising a natural extract as an active ingredient and, more particularly, to a composition for enhancing oral hygiene comprising individual extracts of a leaf of red ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer), licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer), a coptis root (Coptis japonica Makino), ulmus (Ulmus macrocarpa Hance), mint (Mentha arvensis Linne var. piperascens Malinvaud), cinnamon (cinnamomum cassia Blume), and green tea (Camellia sinensis), or a mixed extract thereof as active ingredients. According to the present invention, the composition for enhancing oral hygiene comprising individual extracts of a leaf of red ginseng, licorice, a coptis root, ulmus, peppermint, cinnamon, green tea, or the mixed extract thereof has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antiseptic effects of a natural extract.
