PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which hardly brings discomfort in wear and hardly causes leaks during use.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1A includes a surface sheet 2, a rear surface sheet 3, and an absorptive structure 4 interposed between both sheets, and has an elongated shape. The surface sheet 2 and the rear surface sheet 3 have flexibility in the Y direction. The absorptive structure 4 includes a number of individually independent block shape absorption parts 41. A number of the block shape absorptive parts 41 are intermittently disposed in the Y direction to form a number of absorptive part rows 41f in the X direction. The block shape absorptive parts 41 include a fiber material and a highly absorptive polymer. A number of the block shape absorptive parts 41 form strongly fixed areas ST strongly fixed to the rear surface sheet 3 side and a weakly fixed areas WT weakly fixed thereto. The strongly fixed areas ST are respectively formed in both side edge parts 5s, 5s in the longitudinal direction (Y direction) of the absorptive article 1A.
