An independent claim is included for preparing the pigment particles, comprising mixing the colored particles with a dispersion solvent and with colorant and/or micronized pigments in a mixer having a rotational speed of >；= 20 rotations per minute for a time sufficient to allow evaporation of aqueous solution or solvent, and curing the resin film by coating around the particles.
