The invention relates to an intramedullary rod that can be used to repair bone fractures, comprising a guiding device for the distal fixing thereof, formed from a metal cylinder (4) with a proximal through-opening (5), the distal opening (6) of the cylinder being configured so as to be associated with a guiding device comprising at least a guiding bar (7), a flexible wire (8) and a cannulated screw (9). The guiding bar (7) has means for nailing into the bone and arranging the wire in such a way that it passes through the distal zone. The flexible wire (8) and the distal opening (6) are structured in such a way as to be mutually associated such that the wire (8) can remain inserted in the distal opening (6), as a guide for the cannulated screw (9).
