PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic sheet which has an anatase-type titanium oxide acting as a photocatalyst, made to be firmly supported by the catalytic sheet and can prevent the titanium oxide from peeling off, and further, is made to increase cleaning treatment efficiency by the photocatalyst by maximizing the opportunity for the sheet to come into contact with the photocatalyst.
SOLUTION: This method for producing the photocatalytic sheet involves the following procedures: first, a large number of microflow paths (2) which run through the face and back of a titanium foil (1) are formed by performing etching process from one side or both sides of the titanium foil (1) with a non-periodic pattern. Thus a non-periodic spongy structure of the titanium foil (1) can be obtained. Further, after performing anodic oxidation treatment to the surface of the spongy structure, a titanium oxide base (3) is formed by heating treatment, and anatase-type titanium oxide particles (4) are baked to the titanium oxide base (3).
