A respiratory device capable of exchanging heat and moisture and/or filtering respiratory gases in combination with a path intended for medication delivery, comprising a first chamber (2) containing a heat and moisture exchanger element (3) and a filter element (9) and having two openings (2b, 2b") for the inlet and outlet of air flow, a second chamber (4) defining an additional path and having two openings (4b, 4b") for the passage of air/medication, a tubular fitting (5) placed alternately in fluid communication with the first chamber (2) and the second chamber (4). The tubular fitting (5) comprises an internal flow diverter for deflecting the flow of air from the axial direction (5a) towards the first chamber (2) and the flow of air/medication towards the second chamber (4) by placing the first chamber (2) or the second chamber (4) selectively and alternately in fluid communication with a respiratory circuit to which the device is connected.
