The present disclosure provides prodrug antibodies that specifically bind to tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) only after exposure to proteases from the coagulation cascade. The described prodrug antibodies are useful for the treatment of bleeding disorders such as hemophilia. When used in such treatments, these prodrug antibodies exhibit an extended half-life compared to other anti-TFPI antibodies while reducing the potential for side effects such as thrombosis.
