The present disclosure provides nucleic acid compositions that incorporate one or more harrow-racil molecules. As such, the present disclosure provides various nucleic acid (eg, microRNA) compositions having 5-halouracil molecules incorporated into the nucleic acid sequence and methods of using the same.
