FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: unilateral submucous laser resection of the arytenoid cartilage is performed. A diode laser is used in a pulse mode in a contact way with the wavelength from 810 nm to 980 nm. A cut of the mucous membrane on its upper surface from the middle of the vocal cord through the vocal process to the apex of the arytenoid cartilage is performed by the laser tip. After that the vocal process and the apex, not more than two thirds of the arytenoid cartilage body and the muscular process, the posterior part of the vocal muscle fibres are resected. Sutures are applied endolaryngeally. A needle is pricked into the area of the upper wound edge. After that the lower wound edge is taken together with the vocal cord and the upper part of the elastic cone. Sutures are tightened until edges of the mucosa cut and the larynx lumen extension come in contact.EFFECT: method ensures the low trauma rate and minimisation of intra- and post-operative complications, formation of the stable larynx lumen, reduction of the patients rehabilitation term due to the application of an endoscopic access, operation of the diode laser in specially practised modes, as well as due to the optimal volume of tissues, resected in the course of the operation, and methods of applying sutures on the wound.5 cl, 6 dwg, 1 exИзобретение относится к оториноларингологии.
