The transformant according to the present invention may have a high resistance to the disease.본 발명은 무름병 저항성을 증진시키는 방법에 관한 것으로서, RTP1(Resistance to Pectobacterium 1) 유전자를 포함하는 형질전환용 벡터로 식물 세포를 형질전환하여 RTP1 유전자를 과발현시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 형질전환체는 무름병에 대한 높은 저항성을 가질 수 있다.
