PURPOSE: A fomentation device for thermotherapy is provided to improve fomentation effect by covering users body with an elevating blanket element selectively.CONSTITUTION: A fomentation device for thermotherapy comprises a bottom member(20), a wall part(30), a cover part(40), a driving member(50), and a blanket element(60). The wall part is arranged around the bottom member to be opened at the front and top, thereby forming an accommodating chamber. The cover part is covered at the top of the wall part and opened and closed by a hinge. The driving member comprises a driving motor which is located at the top of the cover part, pulleys which are connected to the driving member and rotated at the front and rear sides of the cover part, and wires arranged on the pulleys and connected to the blanket element by passing through the cover part.
