PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored cardboard having an excellent water resistance whose color fading when wetted with water is mitigated.SOLUTION: The colored cardboard provided by the present invention includes multiple paper layers, whereas a dye, a pigment, a water resistance enhancer, and a water-repellent agent are internally added to the first paper layer positioned on the surface thereof. It is desirable for the inclusion ratio of the dye and pigment within the first paper layer to be 2 : 1 or above and 4 : 1 or below and for the content, in terms of solid content, of the pigment within a raw pulp ingredient forming the first paper layer with respect to 1 t of the pulp to be 3 kg or above and 9.2 kg or below. Moreover, it is desirable for a fixative to be also added internally to the first paper layer and for the surface of the first paper layer to be coated with a coating solution including a water-repellent agent.
