PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling tower that can prevent an accident from occurring and is facilitated in safe maintenance work and safe component change.SOLUTION: The cooling tower cools cooling water ai from a load side by directly bringing it into contact with outdoor air Ai that is suctioned into the tower by an air blower while causing it to flow down a surface of a filler 103 inside the tower. In the cooling tower, a blade-less air blower B1 is mounted to an air outlet 107 of the cooling tower. Since only a jet generating pipe 1 of the blade-less air blower is mounted to the air outlet of the cooling tower, there is neither an impeller nor a blade, thereby preventing occurrence of an accident due to the air blower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
