PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic apparatus capable of acquiring two-dimension information without comprising a configuration in which a support member comprising plural acoustic wave detection parts is scanned in an XY direction.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic apparatus comprises: acoustic wave detection parts 18 for detecting an acoustic wave generated from an analyte when a light from a light source is radiated to the analyte, and outputting a detection signal a support member 17 comprising plural acoustic wave detection parts 18 and having a curve surface and a signal processing part for acquiring information of the analyte based on the detection signal.
