A portable personal hygiene apparatus, includes a water-impermeable user support shaped to support a person in a reclined posture, including a support surface contoured to receive a persons body thereon and a raised side surface extending continuously from the support surface completely around upper and lateral side edges of the support surface such that water discharged onto a person seated on the support surface is contained by the user support and flows downwardly to a front lower edge of the support surface, and a support frame fixed to the user support and having at least one wheel permitting rolling movement of the apparatus. The raised side surface of the user support is narrow in width such that an overall width of the user support substantially corresponds to a width of the support surface. Also, a basin may be provided that is selectively positionable in a retracted position beneath the user support and an operative position extending forwardly of the lower front edge of the support surface such that any water flowing off of the support surface collects in the basin.
