A harness for holding a catheter or urine bag against apatient's leg, the harness comprising a lower leg strapportion, an upper leg strap portion and a shoulder strapportion. The invention includes an improved catheter bagcomprising a bag portion a top tab portion and a bottomtab portion with a one way entry valve extending throughsaid top tab portion to permit fluid to enter the bagportion, a draining valve in the bottom tab portionoperable from an open to a closed position. The catheterbag is provided with a first pair of parallel verticalslots sized and shaped to retain an upper leg straplocated below a top edge of the catheter bag within thetop tab portion with one of said first pair of slots islocated on one side of the one way entry valve and theother of said first pair of slots located on the otherside of the one way entry valve and spaced apart butclose enough to avoid bunching of the top tab portionwhen in use. A second pair of parallel vertical slots,sized and shaped to retain a lower leg strap, are locatedabove a bottom edge within the bottom tab portion andwith one of said second pair of slots located on one sideof the draining valve and the other of said second pairof slots located on the other side of the draining valveand spaced apart but close enough to avoid bunching ofbottom tab portion when in use.
