The present invention relates to a thumb immobilizing splint. Specifically, the thumb immobilizing splint comprises: a body portion which has an inner side surface of a shape commentary to a patient′s hand, and includes a first holding part configured to surround a thumb, a second holding part configured to surround the part excluding the thumb, a vent hole configured to penetrate from one side to the other side, and an enhancement part protruding from an outer side surface； a slit portion which allows the hand to enter the inside of the body portion and be held therein； and a fixing portion to which a fastening means crossing over the slit portion is affixed. More specifically, the first holding part includes a through hole which exposes a part of the thumb outwardly from the first holding part； the second holding part includes open sides, one side of which is formed in the shape to permit fingers excluding the thumb to be outwardly exposed, and the other side of which is formed in the shape to receive a wrist； the slit portion is a hole connecting from the open side of the second holding part to the other open side thereof； and the fixing portion is joined to an outer side surface of the body portion and protrudes therefrom, and includes a fixing hole which is an empty space having a shape complementary to an outer circumference shape of the fastening means.본 발명은 엄지 고정 스플린트에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 환자의 손과 상보적인 형상의 내측면을 가지면서, 엄지를 감싸는 제1파지부와, 엄지 이외의 부분을 감싸는 제2파지부와, 일면에서 타면을 관통하도록 형성된 통기공과, 외측면에 돌출형성된 보강부를 포함하는 바디부와； 상기 바디부 내측으로 손이 들어가 고정될 수 있도록 하는 슬릿부와； 상기 슬릿부 상을 가로지르는 조임수단이 고정되는 고정부를 포함하고, 상기 제1파지부는, 엄지의 일부분이 제1파지부 외측으로 노출되도록 하는 관통홀을 포함하며, 상기 제2파지부는, 일측은 엄지 이외의 손가락을 외측으로 노출되도록 하고 타측은 손목을 수용하도록, 일측과 타측이 개방된 형상을 가지고, 상기 슬릿부는, 상기 제2파지부의 개방된 일측에서부터 개방된 타측까지 연통된 구멍이며, 상기 고정부는, 바디부의 외측면에 결합되어 돌출형성되며, 상기 조임수단의 외주형상과 상보적인 형상을 가지는 빈 공간인 고정홀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 엄지 고정 스플린트에 관한 것이다.
