Autoinjector comprising a body (1) adapted to receive a reservoir (S), said reservoir (S) containing fluid and comprising a piston (P) and a needle (A), such as a pre-filled syringe, said autoinjector having an actuator sleeve (10) movable relative to said body (1) between projected positions, wherein said actuator sleeve (10) at least partially protrudes from said body (1), and an actuating position, wherein said actuator sleeve (10) is axially displaced inwardly of said body (1), said actuator sleeve (10) being in a first projected position before actuation of the autoinjector and in a second projected position after actuation of the autoinjector, said actuator sleeve (10) being biased towards said projected positions by a spring (9), said autoinjector comprising a removable cover (20) fixed to said body (1) before use of the autoinjector, said cover removable (20), when attached to said body (1), axially moving said actuator sleeve (10) relative to said first projected position a distance (d) inwardly of said body (1), against the said spring (9) forces such that when said removable cover (20) is removed from said body (1), said spring (9) returns said in said first projected position.
