PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Ricinus communis L. extract and Sophora japonica flower extract is provided to effectively remove cellulite and to ensure body slimming. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition which prevents and treats cellulite contains Ricinus communis L. extract and Sophora japonica flower extract as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition also contains Zanthoxylum piperitum, Biota orientalis extract, Rugosa rose extract, Foxglove extract, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, Polygonum extract or Lygodii Spora extract. The cosmetic composition contains high isoquercitrin content. The extracts are prepared by hot water extraction or by low carbon number alcohols. A cosmetic composition which removes cellulite contains isoquercitrin, derivatives thereof, or salts thereof.
