PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of complicated maintenance work by preventing dust or the like from being attached to an outer electrode in a silent discharge type discharge device for generating ozone by applying an AC voltage between an inner electrode and an outer electrode opposite to each other across an insulator.SOLUTION: A discharge device 10 includes: an inner tube 1 made of an insulator; an inner electrode 2 arranged along the inner surface of the inner tube 1; an outer electrode 3 made of metal mesh arranged along the outer surface of the inner tube 1; voltage impression means 4 for impressing an AC voltage between the inner electrode 1 and the outer electrode 3; and an outer tube 5 made of the insulator which covers the outer electrode 3 and is fitted to the outside of the inner tube 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】 絶縁体を挟んで対向する内電極と外電極の間に交流電圧を印加することによりオゾンを発生させる無声放電方式の放電装置において、外電極に塵等が付着することを防止して、煩雑なメンテナンス作業を不要にする。【解決手段】 放電装置10は、絶縁体からなる内管1と、内管1の内面に沿って配置された内電極2と、内管1の外面に沿って配置された金属メッシュからなる外電極3と、内電極1と外電極3との間に交流電圧を印加する電圧印加手段4と、外電極3を覆って内管1の外側に嵌着された絶縁体からなる外管5と、を備えて構成される。【選択図】図1
