PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a path in which, when a work path is generated, no unplowed land is left even when there is a work area whose width is less than a work width of a work machine of an autonomous travel work vehicle.SOLUTION: A path generation device comprises: a storage part 114 capable of storing information of a farm field H which is a travel area where a vehicle body part is made to travel, information of a width of the vehicle body part, and/or information of a travel work width W1 which is a width of a rotary cultivator 24 attached to the vehicle body part； and a control part 130 on an operation side capable of generating a work path Ra by the work machine in the farm field H. The farm field H contains a work area HA which is a first area including the work path Ra, a headland HB which is a second area which is set around the first area, and a side margin part HC.
