An enteral feeding adapter system for use with a bottle cap having adispensingopening, and an oral syringe having a male syringe element. The systemincludes a capadapter having a male adapter element configured to be insertable into thedispensingopening to place the cap adapter in fluid communication with the bottle cap.The cap adapterfurther includes a male ENFit connector in fluid communication with the maleadapterelement. The enteral feeding adapter system further includes a syringe adapterhaving afemale ENFit connector configured to be selectively engageable with the maleENFitconnector to place the syringe adapter in fluid communication with the capadapter. Thesyringe adapter further includes a female adapter element in fluidcommunication with thefemale ENFit connector and configured to receive the male syringe element toplace thesyringe adapter element in fluid communication with the oral syringe.
