The plant pot (10) has pot base connected to pot wall (14) that surrounds pot inside portion (16). An outwardly protruding collar (18) is formed in the upper end opposite to the pot wall such that edge of misalignment (20) is formed between the pot wall and the collar transverse to the pot wall. Several sliding studs (26) which form bent sliding surface in relation to the collar inside and opposite to the top side of edge of misalignment are arranged at the inside of the pot collar and at the top side of the edge of misalignment along the entire length of the collar.
