A housing cap (70) for an inhaler. The housing cap (70) includes one or more valves for selectively restricting air flow through an air flow passageway of the inhaler. A portion of the housing cap (70) comprising a deformable portion (96) formed of a deformable material and including one or more valves. The deformable portion is deformable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the valve is restricted and in the second configuration the valve is open to allow air flow through the air flow passageway of the inhaler.
