The present invention relates to a composition comprising bioflavonoid derivatives or salts thereof for preventing, improving or treating metabolic disease, and more specifically, to a composition comprising bioflavonoid derivatives or at least one compound among salts thereof, as active ingredients, for preventing, improving or treating metabolic disease caused by lipid unbalance such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, dyslipidemia, arteriosclerosis or metabolic syndrome. The composition is effective for the treatment of the diseases and is derived from natural products to have a little cytotoxicity and side effects, thereby being usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition or a food composition.본 발명은 바이플라보노이드 유도체 또는 이의 염을 포함하는 대사성질환의 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 지질 불균형에 의해 발생하는 대사성질환인 비알콜성 지방간, 고지혈증, 이상지질혈증, 동맥경화 또는 대사증후군의 예방, 개선 또는 치료하기 위한 바이플라보노이드 유도체 및 이의 염 중 어느 하나 이상의 화합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상기 조성물은 이들 질환의 치료에 효과가 있으며, 천연물에서 유래한 것으로 세포 독성 및 부작용이 적어 약학적 조성물 또는 식품 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
