PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Dioscorea japonica cultivation vessel capable of improving workability and promoting the growth of Dioscorea japonica.SOLUTION: A first soil 12 which contains much more nutrients than a second soil 32 is accumulated in a container 10, and a seed potato 6 and absorbing root 7 of Dioscorea japonica 5 are buried. A growing portion 30 is attached to an opening portion 20 provided in the container 10 at a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction. Inside the container 10, a guiding portion 40 having an opening surface on the upper side is attached to the end portion of the growing portion 30.
