Mixed herbicidal compositions for controlling weeds, preferably in paddy field are provided. The compositions are characterized by comprising, as active ingredients, (a) an herbicidal difluoromethane sulfonanilide, (b) at least one herbicidal compound selected from the group consisting of known herbicides as defined in claim 1 and, optionally, (c) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of safeners.好適には水田の雑草防除用の混合除草剤組成物が提供される。本組成物は、有効成分として、(a)除草性ジフルオロメタンスルホンアニリド、(b)請求項1に記載の公知の除草剤から成る群から選択される少なくとも1つの除草性化合物、そして場合により、(c)薬害軽減剤から成る群から選択される1つ又はそれ以上の化合物を含むことを特徴とする。
