The present invention relates to interventional measurements. In order to provide improved interventional measurements, a device (10) for interventional measurements is provided. The device comprises a elongate body (12) configured to be at least partly inserted into an anatomical structure of a subject, and a transducer arrangement (14) configured to being energized, and to receive sensing signals and to provide respective signals to a console, and an amplifier circuit (16) configured to amplify the signals from the transducer arrangement; and a wiring arrangement (18) along the elongate body providing: i) electric energy supply for the transducer arrangement and the amplifier circuit; and ii) signal data transmission of the signals from the transducer arrangement. The transducer arrangement and the amplifier circuit are provided in a distal end region of the elongate body. The wiring arrangement comprises a ground and a supply. The transducer arrangement is connected to the supply and to the ground; and the amplifier circuit is connected to the supply, to the transducer arrangement and to the ground. Between the transducer arrangement and the ground, a connection selector (20) is provided that is electrically non-conductive below a threshold current or threshold voltage, and electrically conductive above the threshold current or the threshold voltage.
